| Biography: | My name is Colton Sparks. I am an avid disc golf fan who loves playing tournaments. I have been playing since right at the beginning of the Covid boom. Disc golf is a passion that I plan to stick with for as long as I live. I also enjoy engineering. In the past, I have designed and sold disc golf storage racks and disc stands. I have also experimented with designing my own disc and have gotten to the point that I can send it in for PDGA approval after I get to the point that I can produce more than just the test models. In 2023 I was able to attend the Junior and Amateur Disc Golf World Championships, and even though I did not play as well as I had hoped, (I had strep throat the whole week leading up to the event) I still had a great time and met some wonderful people that I have stayed in touch with. I am still hunting for that first big win. I have come close quite a few times but have not been able to hold onto the lead for the last few holes. I have been working on my pressure game and am quite confident that 2024 is the year that I will finally get that long awaited win. For some reason, the spot where I am supposed to put in my rating will not let me use zeros. My actual rating at the time of writing this is 901 and my PDGA number is 174369. | ||||||||||||||||
