Basic Information
| Biography: | I began playing disc golf casually in the late 90s and early 2000s. I drifted away from the sport for a while and focused on snowboarding. When I got back into disc golf it took hold of me and there was no turning back. I started playing competitively and searching for ways to turn my weaknesses into strengths. I met some local players that were growing the sport in Norfolk, VA and got involved... things moved quickly and I found myself working with the City of Norfolk, adding and designing courses, founding and then leading a disc golf club, Tidewater United, and seeking out as many tournaments as I could play in and still stay married. I'm currently serving as President of Tidewater United Disc Golf Club. The club is focused on improving the local courses, adding more courses to southeastern Virginia, and providing quality events. Individually, I'm continuing to develop my game and compete at the highest level. I received my Masters Degree in Sports Psychology which both enables me to apply the mental skills to be resilient on the course and rise to the occasion when the stakes are high. I happily share these skills and serve the disc golf community with these lessons as well. My motto is play with great spirit! | ||||||||||||||||
